At Razzmatazz Cakes, every wedding cake is individually designed to reflect you, your celebration and the details that make your day unique. From contemporary statement cakes and elegant sugar floristry to sculptural designs and intimate wedding cakes, no two creations are the same.
With over 20 years’ experience, we’ll guide you through the design process from your initial ideas through to delivery and setup on your wedding day. Your colours, venue, styling and personal details can all inspire a cake created especially for you.
And while beautiful design is at the heart of what we do, flavour matters just as much. Every cake is handcrafted in our East London studio, combining distinctive design with delicious flavours to create a centrepiece made to be remembered and make your milestone moment sweeter.

Your wedding cake journey begins with a private virtual consultation, giving us time to explore your ideas, style and plans for your celebration.
Ahead of your consultation, you’ll receive a beautifully presented tasting box containing six generous cake samples. This will include three of our signature classic flavours, Classic Vanilla, Luscious Lemon and Dark Chocolate Mud, together with three premium flavours selected from our current menu, giving you a delicious introduction to the Razzmatazz Cakes flavour collection.
You’re welcome to send your inspiration ahead of our meeting, whether that’s your colour palette, invitations, fabric swatches, floral ideas, photographs or simply a few thoughts about how you’d like your cake to look and feel. We’ll use these as a starting point to explore a design that feels personal to you and your celebration.
Following your consultation, I’ll develop up to three bespoke design concepts, each with an accompanying quotation, for you to consider.

YOUR DESIGN AND QUOTATION
Following your consultation, I’ll develop up to three bespoke cake designs, each accompanied by a detailed quotation.
Your designs will bring together the ideas, colours and details we’ve discussed, giving you the opportunity to consider the options before choosing your final cake.
Your wedding date will be held for seven days after your designs and quotations are sent, giving you time to ask any questions and decide how you’d like to proceed. A 50% booking fee then secures your date.

Includes your six-flavour tasting box, delivery and up to three bespoke cake designs with quotations.
How much wedding cake will i need?
There’s no single rule for how much wedding cake you’ll need.
Your guest numbers, how the cake will be served, whether other desserts are available and the style of cake you choose will all influence the size we recommend.
As a guide, our cakes can be cut into dessert portions (1" × 2" × H") or smaller finger portions (1" × 1" × H"). If your cake is being served later in the evening or alongside other desserts, you may not need a portion for every guest.
If you love the look of a larger tiered cake but don’t require all of the portions, dummy tiers can be incorporated into the design, allowing you to achieve the proportions and visual impact you want without unnecessary cake.
During your consultation, I’ll help you determine the most appropriate cake size and serving style for your celebration, taking into account your guest numbers, plans and overall cake design.
how many cake tiers do i need?
The number of tiers you need will depend on your guest numbers, serving style and the overall look you’d like to achieve.
A larger wedding doesn’t necessarily mean you need an enormous cake, and equally, a smaller celebration doesn’t mean you have to compromise on impact. Different tier sizes, portion styles and carefully incorporated dummy tiers can all be used to create the proportions and presence you want while providing the right amount of cake for your guests.
Your cake doesn’t have to be traditionally round either. Square, rectangular and other shaped tiers can be incorporated into your design, and different heights and proportions can completely change the finished look.
During your consultation, I’ll help you choose the combination of tiers and sizes that works best for your guest numbers, design and budget.
How do I cut my wedding cake?
How your wedding cake is cut will determine the number of portions it provides. Before your wedding, you’ll receive a cake-cutting guide to help your venue or caterer portion your cake correctly.
Dessert portions are approximately 1" × 2" × the height of the cake, while smaller finger portions are approximately 1" × 1" × the height. Fruit cake is traditionally served in smaller 1" × 1" portions.
Your required cake size and preferred serving style can be discussed during your consultation, so we can ensure there is the right amount of cake for your celebration.

Every Razzmatazz wedding cake is individually designed, so the final price will depend on the size, flavours and level of detail involved in your chosen design.
The guide prices below are based on round wedding cakes from our Classic flavour collection — Classic Vanilla, Luscious Lemon or Dark Chocolate Mud Cake — layered with buttercream, finished with Belgian chocolate ganache and smooth white fondant.

BESPOKE DESIGN & PRICING
These prices are intended as a guide.
Your personalised quotation will reflect your chosen cake size, flavours and design, including elements such as handcrafted sugar flowers, intricate sugarwork, Lambeth detailing, edible lace, modelling, unusual tier heights or more complex structural work.
Premium flavours are priced separately, and delivery and professional setup will be quoted according to your venue and requirements.
If you would like the presence of a larger cake without requiring the equivalent number of portions, dummy tiers can be incorporated into your design. Additional portions can also be provided with a simple cutting cake where appropriate.
During your consultation, we'll discuss your guest numbers, ideas and budget and explore the combination of cake sizes and tiers that works best for your celebration.
WEDDING CAKE PAYMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
A 50% non-refundable booking fee secures your wedding date, with the remaining balance due six weeks before your wedding.
For cakes requiring additional preparation time, such as rich fruit cake or designs featuring extensive handcrafted sugar flowers, an earlier payment date may be required. This will always be confirmed with you in advance.
Flexible payment options are also available, allowing you to spread the cost of your wedding cake through instalments or monthly payments. All payments must be completed by the final balance date.

how much notice do you need for a wedding cake?
As I take on a limited number of wedding cakes each week, I recommend booking at least four months in advance wherever possible.
Popular dates can fill considerably earlier, particularly during peak wedding season, so you're very welcome to enquire as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed.

delivery
Wedding cake delivery and professional setup are available and quoted separately according to your venue location, access requirements and the level of setup required.
On arrival, your cake will be carefully assembled and positioned at your venue, with any final decorative details added as required, so everything is ready before your guests arrive.
Collection can also be arranged for suitable designs. If you choose to collect your cake, you'll receive clear transportation and setup guidance to help you carry it safely.
